CADS-INTEL Computer Security Fellowship

Status:
Beginning December 1st
20+ hrs/week – irregular hours

Location:
Rochester Institute for Technology (most positions) or Washington, DC (few positions)

Compensation:
$5,000 / academic year (minimum – possibly higher based on qualifications)

Duties
Qualified individual will be responsible for the following, in addition to any other duties which may arise:

• Codification of existing Web Service threats
• Testing exploits
• Identifying and testing new threats

Skills
Qualified individual will be knowledgeable and have experience with the following skill sets:

• Web Services: .Net, XML, SOAP, WSDL
• Security concepts
• Familiarity with Web threat classes (http://www.webappsec.org/projects/threat/)
• Basic understating of REgEX and Pattern matching techniques

Qualifications
This is a very competitive program and while it is expected that the majority of the applicants will be Graduate Students studying Computer Science, Undergraduate and Graduate students of any major who have the desired skills may apply. Preferences will be given to those most qualified regardless of educational status.
