University of Queensland Australia – The Polymer Group within the AIBN (The Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology) is seeking high quality science and engineering graduates interested in undertaking research projects in a range of projects concerned with the synthesis and evaluation of novel polymeric materials.

The Polymer Group is a leader in the fields of synthesis and characterisation of polymers for advanced applications. Major themes of research within the group, bridged by complimentary chemistries, are polymers for biomedical applications, and polymers for photolithography. The group offers a supportive and stimulating environment for students, and encourages travel by students to international partner laboratories. Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD25000 (per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of up to 3 and a half years.

This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: CHEMICAL SCIENCES or ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY.
Eligibility
This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent, or Masters or equivalent. Only citizens of Australia or New Zealand or permanent residents can apply.
