Scholarships for International Students requiring application:
General Eligibility Criteria:
- Applying for September entry
- Have an excellent academic record (“A” average or equivalent)
- An international student with a Study Permit for Canada
- Applying to the first year of a full-time undergraduate degree program in one of the following Faculties:
- Liberal Arts & Professional Studies
- Environmental Studies
- Fine Arts
- Glendon
- Health
- Science & Engineering
- Schulich School of Business
Global Leader of Tomorrow Award
value: $60,000 ($15,000 x 4 years)
Eligibility:
- Highest academic average
- Nomination by high school
- Leadership and demonstrated skills
- To renew – must have a high academic standing (7.80 on a 9-point York scale) in each academic year at York
United World College Scholarship
value: $100,000 ($25,000 x 4 years)
Eligibility:
- Enrolled in a United World College and high academic standing
- To renew – maintain a high academic standing (7.80 on a 9-point York scale) in each academic year at York
- York requests that only one candidate be nominated per school
International Entrance Scholarship
value: $100,000 ($25,000 x 4 years)
Eligibility:
- Highest academic average
- Demonstrated leadership skill
- Letters of recommendation
- To renew – maintain a high academic standing (7.80 on a 9-point York scale) in each academic year at York
York University Entrance Award
value: $5,000
Eligibility:
- Have a Study Permit for Canada and be applying to a full-time undergraduate degree program at York
- Achieve the minimum average for admission to York
- Financial need
- For first year only
