Belgium – The Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Faculty of Bioscience Engineering, Biosystems Department, M3-BIORES (Measurement, Modeling and Management of Bioresponses) Division, recruits a research team leader at postdoctoral level.

The position encompasses the following responsibilities and opportunities under the overall guidance of prof. Pol Coppin who in the immediate future has limited time to spend on his research team because he is also the dean of the faculty:

7. Continuation of the own research line once funding to do so has been secured.

Moreover, the position entails an official status as visiting lecturer at the K.U.Leuven. Funding is available for a period of 2 years, to be extended if and when sufficient new grants have been secured. Ideally, the position should be taken up by February 1, 2011 or the soonest thereafter.
