Conditions:
Awarded annually to students on study permit who are entering an undergraduate degree program at the University of Alberta from high school on the basis of superior academic achievement (minimum award average of ~95% or equivalent) in Grades 10, 11, and 12. Receipt of funding for the second, third, and fourth years is contingent upon achieving a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a full normal course load at the University of Alberta each year.
Scholastic Distinction (Transfer Citations) for International Students

Conditions:
Awarded annually to postsecondary students transferring into an undergraduate degree program at the University of Alberta based on superior academic achievement (minimum award average of 95% or equivalent) in Grades 10, 11, and 12 and on coursework completed at the postsecondary level. Receipt of funding for the second, third, and fourth years is contingent upon achieving a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a full normal course load at the University of Alberta each year.
Application procedure:
The competition will open in January 2011 and the deadline to apply is March 4, 2011. Postsecondary students do not need to be nominated for this award.
International Entrance Leadership Award

Conditions:
Awarded to student(s) with superior academic achievement entering their first year of an undergraduate degree program and who are studying on a Study Permit. Selection based on leadership qualities as demonstrated by involvement in extracurricular and community activities and academic standing.
