{"id":1115,"date":"2010-01-14T14:46:03","date_gmt":"2010-01-14T14:46:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.infobeasiswa.net\/?p=1115"},"modified":"2010-01-13T14:54:21","modified_gmt":"2010-01-13T14:54:21","slug":"engineering-international-scholarships-2010-the-university-of-sheffield","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.infobeasiswa.net\/archives\/2010\/01\/14\/engineering-international-scholarships-2010-the-university-of-sheffield\/","title":{"rendered":"Engineering International Scholarships 2010 The University of Sheffield"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The University of Sheffield <strong>Engineering International Scholarships 2010<\/strong><br \/>\nWe are pleased to offer Engineering <a href=\"http:\/\/www.infobeasiswa.net\/international-scholarships\/\">International Scholarships<\/a> to all international <a href=\"http:\/\/www.infobeasiswa.net\/archives\/category\/category\/beasiswa-s1-undergraduate\/\">undergraduate students<\/a> commencing their studies in the Faculty of Engineering in September 2010.<\/p>\n<p>The scholarships are worth \u00a32,000 per year each.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\n<strong> Eligibility and Award Criteria<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You must hold an offer of a study place and begin your undergraduate studies in September 2010 in one of the following departments: Automatic Control &amp; Systems Engineering, Chemical &amp; Process Engineering, Civil &amp; Structural Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic &amp; Electrical Engineering, Engineering Materials, Mechanical Engineering\/Aerospace Engineering.<\/li>\n<li>You must be self-funding and classified as overseas for tuition fee purposes.<\/li>\n<li>The scholarships will be awarded automatically &#8211; no application is required in first or subsequent years.<\/li>\n<li>The scholarships will be awarded unconditionally in the first year of studies. Award in subsequent years of study is subject to the achievement of 60% overall average mark.<\/li>\n<li>The scholarships will take the form of a tuition fee reduction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Study at Sheffield<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sheffield is one of the cheapest places in the UK to live and study. According to a survey of 26 university towns and cities (Natwest Student Living Index 2008), living costs for Sheffield students are the third lowest in the country.<\/p>\n<p>Sheffield is one of the greenest cities in England with 150 woodlands and 50 public parks within the city.
