{"id":1227,"date":"2010-04-15T12:41:20","date_gmt":"2010-04-15T12:41:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.infobeasiswa.net\/?p=1227"},"modified":"2010-04-14T13:12:50","modified_gmt":"2010-04-14T13:12:50","slug":"law-international-llm-scholarship-university-of-technology-sydney","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.infobeasiswa.net\/archives\/2010\/04\/15\/law-international-llm-scholarship-university-of-technology-sydney\/","title":{"rendered":"Law International LLM Scholarship &#8211; University of Technology, Sydney"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>University of Technology, Sydney (UTS): Law International LLM Scholarship<\/p>\n<p><em>The Faculty of Law offers two scholarships in each academic year for &#8220;New International Candidates&#8221; in the Master of Laws (LLM) by Coursework.<!--more--><\/em><\/p>\n<p>One scholarship will be awarded in each of Autumn Semester and Spring Semester each year to a new LLM international student.<\/p>\n<p>The scholarship will be by way of reduction of tuition fees for the semester of the award.<\/p>\n<p>Scholarships will be awarded solely on the basis of academic merit*.<\/p>\n<p><strong> Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Candidates must:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> have applied for admission to the UTS Master of Laws by Coursework (LLM) award, course code C04143;<\/li>\n<li>be categorised by UTS as an international student (neither an Australian citizen nor a permanent resident of Australia); and<\/li>\n<li>have reached a level of achievement across all subjects in the undergraduate legal qualification used as a basis for admission to the LLM which is equivalent to an academic achievement of Distinction average (75%) at UTS<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong> Selection criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Academic Merit. The scholarship will be awarded to the applicant who is the highest achiever.<\/p>\n<p><strong> Value<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>$2,500.00<\/p>\n<p><strong>Number per year<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>2<\/p>\n<p><strong> How to apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Students must apply on the online form.<br \/>\n(Note: the online form will only be available during the open periods stated below)<\/p>\n<p>Applications should be submitted by the due date:<\/p>\n<p>Autumn Semester (February to June)<br \/>\nOpen &#8211;
