\nApplications are invited for admission to DBT-sponsored M. Sc. Teaching Programme in Computational Biology<\/strong> to be offered at Pondicherry University, Anna University and Madurai Kamaraj University under Network mode. Selections will be based on a common entrance examination to be held on Sunday, *September 26, 2010 * at various centres across India. Total Intake is 36 (Reservations as per GOI rules) selected students will get a *studentship of Rs. 5000\/- p.m. * sponsored by DBT, Govt. of India.<\/p>\n

The filled in applications should be sent to The Centre Head, Centre for Bioinformatics, Pondicherry University, Puducherry 605014 along with a demand draft drawn in favor of *The Finance Officer, Pondicherry University, payable at Puducherry, for Rs. 300\/- * (For SC\/ST candidates: Rs.150\/-; Free of cost for physically\/visually challenged candidates along with relevant certificates).<\/p>\n

Bachelors degree in any relevant area of Physical\/ Chemical\/ Life Sciences\/ Mathematics\/ Computer Science with Mathematics at +2 level and a minimum 55% of marks
