Program: Erasmus Mundus Minerals and Environmental Programme (EMMEP) for International Students"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Erasmus Mundus Minerals and Environmental Programme for International Students<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>EMMEP<\/strong> (Erasmus Mundus Minerals and Environmental  Programme) is a 2 year M.Sc. program for students in Mining \/  Geotechnical Engineering, Mineral Processing, Recycling and related  academic studies. There are three different specialisations;  accommodating groups with 15 to 20 students each.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nJoining the EMMEP program is an excellent opportunity to study abroad with a group of international students.<br \/>\nApplication Deadline:<strong> 1 November 2010 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applications for the 2010-2012 Program have now been closed. For the  2011-2013 programme, applications from\u00a0Non-European Students can be  submitted until November 1st, 2010. European Students can apply until  April 1st, 2011. The application form can be found <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/phobos.tue.nl\/tmo-cgi\/tmodag\/index_tud.opl\"><em><strong>here<\/strong><\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application for students:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application deadline<\/strong>:<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>The application deadline for the Erasmus Mundus\u00a0EMMEP Master 2011-2013\u00a0is:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>November\u00a01, 2010\u00a0for graduate students applying for a scholarship.<\/li>\n<li>January 1st, 2011\u00a0deadline for sending in TOEFL\/IELTS score (where applicable)<\/li>\n<li>April 1, 2011 for EU (EEA) graduate students<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The application form can be found here: <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/phobos.tue.nl\/tmo-cgi\/tmodag\/index_tud.opl\" target=\"_blank\"><em><strong>Application form<\/strong><\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>EMMEP\u00a0will notify graduate students upon their elegibility for the  scholarship\u00a0and admission to the program by\u00a0the end\u00a0of April\u00a01, 2011.<\/p>\n<p>EU (non third country) students not applying for the scholarship\u00a0will be notified about their eligibility by May 1, 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Third country\u00a0graduate student means a national of a third\u00a0country  other than those from EU Member States, EEA-EFTA\u00a0States (Iceland,  Liechtenstein and Norway) and candidate countries (Croatia, Former   Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Turkey) for\u00a0accession to the European  Union.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application instructions:<\/strong><br \/>\nAn application for the\u00a0EMMEP Programme should contain the following documents:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>A manually\u00a0completed and signed MSc application form\u00a0with one recent passport photograph attached<\/li>\n<li>A certified copy of your original academic degree(s) (in the original language)<\/li>\n<li>A certified translation of your academic degree(s) in English<\/li>\n<li>Or, in case the degree has not been completed yet, a letter  from the unversity stating that you will have your degree completed  by 1 July.<\/li>\n<li>A certified copy of original lists of grades\/marks (transcripts) in the original language<\/li>\n<li>A certified translation of grades\/marks (transcripts) in English<\/li>\n<li>An original report with the official TOEFL score, or IELTS score (academic version).<br \/>\nIn the application form for the TOEFL test you select \u201csciences\u201d under desired field of study. The score needs to be reported to\u00a0TU Delft International Office,\u00a0code 0031.<\/li>\n<li>Two letters of recommendation in English (one from an official  of the faculty from which you obtained or      soon will obtain your  diploma and one from your employer or another official, e.g. the  supervisor of your BSc thesis work)<\/li>\n<li>A personal statement in English (2000-3000 words; describe e.g.  your aspirations, interests, experience, talents, professional  academic and personal motivation, why      you chose this programme, why  your skills and abilities make you a good      candidate)<\/li>\n<li>A\u00a0description of your preferred\u00a0specialisation within the\u00a0EMMEP Programme (EMC, EMEC  or EGEC)<\/li>\n<li>A certified copy of your birth certificate<\/li>\n<li>A photocopy of passport      pages, with name, date, place and expiry date<\/li>\n<li><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.tudelft.nl\/live\/pagina.jsp?id=09b3f109-2a8f-4995-9a4c-e937d5916a73&amp;lang=en&amp;binary=\/doc\/EMMEP-Track%20Choice.pdf\"><em><strong>The EMMEP-Track Choice<\/strong><\/em><\/a><em><strong> Form<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>All applications from international students will be administered by the TUD International Admissions Office.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The application form can be send by regular mail, but\u00a0the\u00a0use  of a\u00a0courier (DHL, TNT) is highly recommended!
