\nSpecifically the candidate will be involved in the development of synthetic biology tools for pathway expression, understand regulatory mechanisms for improving flux, engineer mono- and polysaccharide utilization pathways and develop robust fungal chassis for industrial scale applications. The candidate will also use a variety of tools such as next generation sequencing technologies, whole cell transcriptomics and proteomics for characterization of improved phenotypes.<\/p>\n
