Receipt of funding for the second, third, and fourth years is contingent upon achieving a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a full normal course load at the University of Alberta each year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Scholastic Distinction (Transfer Citations) for International Students<\/strong><br \/>\nField of Study:   Open<br \/>\nValue:  Variable from $15,000 to $20,000 &#8211; Payable over four years<br \/>\nQuantity available:   Variable (Entrance or Transfer)<\/p>\n<p>Conditions:<br \/>\nAwarded annually to postsecondary students transferring into an undergraduate degree program at the University of Alberta based on superior academic achievement (minimum award average of 95% or equivalent) in Grades 10, 11, and 12 and on coursework completed at the postsecondary level. Receipt of funding for the second, third, and fourth years is contingent upon achieving a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a full normal course load at the University of Alberta each year.<\/p>\n<p>Application procedure:<br \/>\nThe competition will open in January 2011 and the deadline to apply is March 4, 2011.  Postsecondary students do not need to be nominated for this award.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>International Entrance Leadership Award<\/strong><br \/>\nField of Study:   Open<br \/>\nValue: $5,000<br \/>\nQuantity available:  Variable<br \/>\nConditions:<br \/>\nAwarded to student(s) with superior academic achievement entering their first year of an undergraduate degree program and who are studying on a Study Permit.
