The following graduate scholarship was started from academic year 1968-69 and furthermore is designed to ensure the relevance and also responsiveness of Southeast Asia’s agricultural scientists and professionals in order to global sustainable development concerns.

\nThis program offers guidance to obtain advanced studies leading to the Master of science and PhD degrees in agriculture, forestry, and relevant subjects. SEARCA aims to get ready highly skilled professionals doing work in agricultural as well as rural development regarding positions of leadership in SEAMEO member countries.<\/p>\n
At the time of Academic Year 2009\/2010, SEARCA provides granted 1,250 scholarships or school funding, the fact that 1,056 study courses (448 PhD, 608 MS) had been finished.<\/p>\n
Over the decades, the Graduate Study Program has expanded its scope to include institutional development and networking activities and services to enhance graduate education in the region. SEARCA also provides services for administration of scholarship funds under the sponsorship of institutions other than SEAMEO.<\/p>\n
SEARCA – Regular MS\/PhD Scholarships<\/strong><\/p>\n The Masters (MS)\/PhD Scholarship Programme aims to ensure the relevance and responsiveness of Southeast Asia\u2019s agricultural scientists and professionals to global sustainable development issues<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Host Institutions<\/strong>:<\/p>\n Malaysia: Universiti Putra Malaysia Field of studies<\/strong>:<\/p>\n Agriculture and related fields (including biological sciences, social sciences, economics and statistics, forestry and fisheries, environmental sciences, agro-industrial technology and engineering, biochemistry, and development management).<\/p>\n Eligible for students from: Application Deadline: Application Procedure<\/strong><\/p>\n Nationals of SEAMEO member countries may apply for scholarship.
