SOAS, University of London (The School of Oriental and African Studies) is the only Higher Education institution in Europe specialising in the study of Asia, Africa and the Near and Middle East.

\nSOAS offers a wide-range of scholarships, bursaries and awards to support students undertaking our degree programmes.\u00a0 A number of scholarships are also provided by the University of London, the British government and other external organisations.<\/p>\n
The scholarships and other awards listed below are distributed through a competitive application process with respect to financial need and\/or academic merit. List of Scholarships and Bursaries at SOAS for International Students:<\/p>\n
Undergraduate Programmes<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Undergraduate Research Awards<\/strong> <\/em> Taught Masters Programmes<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The Canon Collins Scholarships<\/strong><\/em> Santander Taught Master\u2019s Scholarships<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Standard Chartered Scholarships<\/strong> <\/em>(for a range of full-time Taught Masters programmes. The programmes relate to Asia, Africa, and the Middle East\/NorthAfrica)<\/p>\n SOAS Master’s Scholarships<\/strong><\/em> – Faculty of Arts & Humanities\u00a0 – (for any full-time taught masters programme in the Faculty of Arts & Humanities)<\/p>\n
\nDeadline: 26 April 2013
\nEach year, six awards valued at \u00a3500 each will be made available to support full time undergraduates with the costs of an Independent Study Project (ISP).<\/p>\n
\nThere are two scholarships available in 2013-14 for study at SOAS. These scholarships are for Masters study in any subject field.<\/p>\n
