Robert S. McNamara Fellowships Program<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nThe Robert S. McNamara Fellowships Program provides support to young researchers working in academic and research institutions from developing countries. Fellowships are awarded for a period of five to ten months and must be complete between July 2008 and June 2009. The maximum amount of the grants is US$25,000.
\n<\/a>
\nWho can apply? <\/strong>
\nOnly professors and researchers from countries with the right to work in his doctoral thesis can apply the scholarship. Candidates must be under 45 years old, and have completed the course work or any of the examinations required for its doctoral program.<\/p>\n

Commitment of fellow<\/strong><\/p>\n

The fellows are required to issue two reports, a report during the period of the fellowship and a final report containing the results of the investigation. The results of the fellows McNamara research work can be considered for publication by the World Bank.<\/p>\n

Fellows are expected to return to their home countries and resume their academic or research position after completion of the fellowship. It is also expected to talk about the award of fellowships McNamara any publication relating to their doctoral research work, including their theses, and to provide the program with a copy of his thesis to graduate.<\/p>\n

Eligibility Criteria <\/strong><\/p>\n

Applicants must meet the following general criteria to be eligible for a scholarship award:<\/p>\n
