The program especially welcomes quailed women applicants who  have limited financial means to obtain university education.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong>The Scholarship<\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Level of Education<\/span>: Post  graduate (Diploma, Masters, and Doctorate degrees)<br \/>\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Duration<\/span>: from 1-2 years<br \/>\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Coverage<\/span>: tuition fees,  books, subsistence and housing allowance, insurance, economy airfare,  and research subsidy<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong>Academic Institutions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Australia<br \/>\nNational Centre for  Development Studies\/ Australian National University, University of Melbourne,  University of Sydney<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>China, People&#8217;s of Republic    of<br \/>\nUniversity of Hong  Kong<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Japan<br \/>\nInternational University  of Japan, Nagoya University ( Graduate School of International Development),  Keio University ( International Graduate Programs on Advanced Science  and Technology), National Graduate Institute for Policies Studies, Ritsumeikan  University (Master in Economic), Seitama University (Department of Civil  and Environment Engineering), University of Tokyo (Department of Civil  Engineering, School of International Health, Institute of Environmental  Studies, and Department of Urban Engineering)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>New Zealand<br \/>\nUniversity of Auckland<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Pakistan<br \/>\nLahore University  of Management Sciences<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Philippines<br \/>\nAsian Institute of  Management International Rice Research Institute\/ Unisersity of the  Philippines in Los Banos<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Singapore<br \/>\nNational University  of Singapore<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Thailand<br \/>\nAsian Institute of  Technology, Thammasat University<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>USA<br \/>\nEast-West Center<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong>Eligibility Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Prospective applicants  must:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>be a citizen of an ADB developing    member country<\/li>\n<li>Have at least 2 years work    experience<\/li>\n<li>Have gained admission to an    approved course in a designated institution<\/li>\n<li>Be proficient in Spoken and    Written English communication skills to be able to pursue studies<\/li>\n<li>Be in good health<\/li>\n<li>Not more than 35 years old    at the time of application<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<p align=\"justify\">(Staff of ADB and  the designed institutions and their close relatives is not eligible  to apply)<\/p>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong>Application Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Applications should obtain  application forms from the designed institution of their choice and  submit the completed form and required documentation to the institution.  applicants should indicate on the application form that they wish to  be considered for an Asian Development Bank-Japan Scholarship. (ADB  will select the scholars from among those admitted by the institution.  A separate application to ADB is not necessary.)
