MSc Public Health Scholarships<\/strong> The Centre for Public Health Research at the University of Salford\u00a0 will provide two scholarship awards to well-qualified applicants to the MSc Public Health programme for the September 2009 entry.<\/strong> These scholarships cover tuition fees for either home (UK\/EU) students or international students for the whole duration of the programme. Travel and living costs are not covered in this scholarships.<\/p>\n This Masters course provides core skills and knowledge in the field of Public Health and put an emphasis to social determinants of health. The programme is relevant to both UK and international students who wish to develop the skills and knowledge to take a lead role in areas such as prevention, promotion, protection and international health.<\/p>\n What will I learn?<\/p>\n The MSc Public Health can be taken part-time over three years or full-time over one. The full Masters consists of a number of 30 and 15 credit modules and a dissertation (60 credits).<\/p>\n To apply, please make a note on the personal statement section of your application form that you would like to be considered for the award. To be considered, applications should be received by the end of June 2009.<\/p>\n
